BMe is a growing network of brothers committed to making our communities stronger. They are fathers, coaches, students and businessmen—regular guys from all walks of life who are engaging neighborhoods, starting businesses and mentoring kids. Each day, they get up and do their part. Just like you.

Through BMe, you have the chance to inspire and be inspired, to come together in power and purpose. You can connect with other brothers, exchange ideas and resources to advance your work, and celebrate all that we do for our families and our future.

How can you get involved?

It's simple

Share your story: How are you strengthening your community? Tell us your story, in video or in writing. Or, nominate someone you know to be recognized by on BMeCommunity.org for doing his part for the community.

Inspire others, by coming together to take action: In early 2013, BMe will be asking brothers in Detroit, Philadelphia and Baltimore to come together and propose collective community projects. BMe will help provide resources to some of the projects to help make them happen.

Connect through the BMe Community: Attend BMe events in your city to get to know like-mind brothers. Check out our listing of events. In 2013, we will be providing more ways BMe brothers will come together for the greater good.

Why BME?

BMe starts with a simple truth - that black men are assets to our nation. That there are thousands of black males who - by example - inspire others to get involved, to persevere and to lead on issues and opportunities facing the community.

If you don’t see that, you aren’t paying attention.

If you do see it, and want to see more of it, share your story. Join the community.
